I love people. Everything about us. Our foibles, our beauty, our relationships and our desire to make a better world. I love the people closest to me the most.
I’m a fiercely proud native Montrealer and I believe strongly in our city and our collective sense of community, possibility and potential.
It’s one of the reasons I love being the Executive Director of Santropol Roulant, a Montreal-based youth-led community food centre. We use food as a vehicle for social change. If you are in the neighbourhood, stop by for a tour. Even better, come volunteer. You’ll be glad you did.
Outside of the Roulant, I’m excited about being a Founding trustee of the Montreal Awesome Foundation. With no small measure of whimsy, we are testing out how small change can make big differences. We’re just starting out and it’s a heady time.
Everyone has something to learn and something to teach. I hope to do lots of the former and if all goes well a little bit of the latter.
I also miss the Expos, never say no to glass of red wine and need some new music.
